Stock Eliminator in Hot Rod
I just received the latest issue of Hot Rod (November '15) and it's got a pretty cool little article about class racing. It's worth reading and directing to people who would like to understand this crazy addiction of ours without wandering too far into the weeds...

splitting 1st and 2nd place prize money is very common.
however I would never personally do it.
