Default Generator recommend.

Have no power. Seen all kinds of generators offered. What is your recommendation for home use , need at least 10000 watts. Don't want any crap from harbor freight. Thank you.

Ron I have a Yamaha EF12000DE 12000 watt generator connected to my house. It has been very reliable, I wish we were closer I would bring it to you! Hopefully I won't need it anymore this year.

I use Onan's in my trailer and motor home they are very quiet but only 2000 watts and the parts are expensive

If I were looking for a stand bye generator for your home I might look at Generac

I have a Generac 15000 continuous, 17500 for start ups. I got it for hurricane Rita, it is on wheels, had an electrician make up a connection at meter, just pull meter, connect generator and run whole house. It is a gas unit, very thirsty. During Rita and Ike gas prices soared was not uncommon for $100.00 per 24 hours, ran for 12 days during Rita, and 16 days for Ike.
