Brings back good memories when I ran B/G there in Detroit. But I'm sure it was 1959 not 1958.

Yeah, it was deffinately 59',,,what a great historic film. I thought the "caravan" was pretty cool. I liked the shot of Wally Parks with Ed Cole, and "Pete" Petersen, and seeing Ohio George Montgomery and his Willys was a treat. No "Big Daddy" here, so you know this was during the fuel ban days. The shots from the air were neat also.

Too bad NHRA changed it to two words...

The green car in oklahoma they just called "The Allison" I believe iwas on display at Indy this year. Very cool for sure.
