1970 Buick GS oil pan/pick up help
Is a Skylark and GS oil pan/pick up the same?

First, the GS in 1970 was available with either a 350 or 455. They would have different oil pans and pickups, so for someone to help you, you have to clarify your question. Plus, only a GS 455 Skylark would have been available with a 455; the biggest engine a regular Skylark (non-GS) would have been available with is a 350 4bbl.

If my memory is correct from my days as a Buick tech, all 350 engines used the same pan and pick up.

Is it possible the pickup is for a 455? Really stretching my memory, but I think the 455 pickup looked similar just a little deeper for the bigger engine. If Lyn Smith sees this he might have some idea too.
