Congratulations to Jon Irving
Congratulation to my Kid: Jon D. Irving for setting O/SA in his 1978 Dodge Aspen Wagon. His third teardown in three Months (Phoenix, Chicago, Fallon). It was 5000+ Ft. and side/head wind. I believe it figures out to 12.19 at 107. Still 318 ( 3....1....8 ) cubic inches and he invited everybody to come by and take a look.

Re: Congratulations to Jon Irving
Congrats, awesome performance!
Question though... why don't they just seal the motor after the car was torn down and passed the first time?

Re: Congratulations to Jon Irving
Michael: We requested that the motor remained sealed for the next week's race but tech did not like that.....We had also asked in Phoenix for the next week. In Fallon they simply put another color next to where the first color of sealer was. Jr has just about worn his head bolts out and used up all my spare gaskets..... I better hide the rest or he will take away our N/SA in my truck!
