There is a formula that tells pretty close to how well your car is working. 1320/mph = ET

1320/117.5 = 11.23 So you are not getting the power you are making to the ground. Either your suspension is not working or your clutch.

More to the clutch than tight and loose.

There are other things at play here that would account for a tenth or two reduction in e.t. we're not getting, she drives the car a certain way that isn't the fastest but it's her way and we're satisfied with it. None of which are making the car run like crap in high gear.

Eric, I've called Rob, seems like a great guy. We talked about quite a few things, clutches however didn't come up much, I don't typically call people and ask a bunch of questions when I haven't spent any money and don't intend to. No doubt in my mind that Rob would've answered all my questions... had I asked.

Well it's time we got down to business. Engine and trans are out and I hope to get a minute to get it on an engine stand sometime tomorrow or Thursday. Since we have one that doesn't seem to be on a timer our hopes are now set to build more power. I have a great driver and now we need to go rounds in a heads up format. Hopefully we have time to test cyl. heads and maybe a new cam before season fires up!

Happy New Year to you and your family as well Todd!!
What backspacing did you use for your rear wheels? We are getting ready to install our 12 bolt rear end and it looks like your fit on the inside of was just right tight. Thanks, Gary Howe
