Default Re: roll cage decesion for the Super 10

Joe, I do have a bender. What software are to referring to? I will consider that option.

In the "olden days" we bent a lot of custom exhaust jobs so I am not virgin with the process. We had a computer program that gave dimensions of each bend, distance and angle to next bend, etc. We used a "degree wheel" clamped into the tube and set at zero then each bent was so many inches and so may degrees. "IF" you followed the dimensions carefully the pipe fit perfectly.

Larry similar concept, as bending exhaust. I've used a few but have had good results with Bendtech, they have a few different programs from very basic to fairly complex. Look at their site I believe they even have some programs you can "try" on the site. I bought their 3D software and like it, however it does take a bit of getting used to compared to the basic systems. BTW I've messed up on more than one piece of tubing before, not the end of the world I've always found a way to use it even if it's on another project. I prefer for someone to have to "look" for the cage versus it being obvious a bit more work but worth it. Joe

after considering and pondering I ordered a 14 point set from Auto Weld Chassis. The Class Racer builds will document the install details.

Thanks to all for comments and suggestions.
