Default Brake Conversion

I still run original drum brakes on the rear of my maverick. I am wondering if there would be a noticeable difference changing to a disk conversion? I run a 289 with a C4 and transbrake. If it is a situation of only very little difference in ET I would rather spend my money on other parts.
Just wanted to see if you guys noticed much gain. Thank You!
