Fuel at Fontana

Does anyone know if there will be fuel available at the Fontana events coming up in the next two weeks?

There's a test and tune on Thursday, as well as tech. You should be able to buy what you need then and not have to thrash with getting fuel and getting it checked all on Friday and Saturday. The track has a flyer on their website with the schedule.If push comes to shove, Irwindale will run its usual test and tune on Thursday night, they have a fuel vendor that will sell C-12.

The guy at Merit Oil in Fontana told me they plan on being at Fontana. He sells Sunoco 110 @ 8.29/gal your jug. He told me that would be their price at the track. I don't know other prices since I run the cheap stuff.

Thanks for the info Jim. I was able to get ahold of Mike Rice and he confirmed there will be Sunoco available both weekends. I will be showing up late the first week so all of the weekday options will not work.

I got fuel today @ Merit Oil just a few miles east of track. Price for 110 $7.70/gal (your jug) + tx. That comes to $8.29 total. I like that !

He told me the Corp truck would supply fuel (not Merit as had been told to me 6 weeks ago) at both races. Expect prices to be about like the WN.

112 was 11.15 +tx ($60.26 total) for metal can @ Merit. Merit doesn't dispense 112 to your container.

No VP @ Merit
