"Live From" Englishtown, NJ Summernationals
Good afternoon all, yes its only Tuesday, but lets get this started anyway. Its a little chilly and overcast today in the mid 50's. We had some rain early, but it has stop and the sun is trying to come out. Forecast for the week is mixed with a slight chance of rain. Over all it looks to be a good week weather wise. Thursday being the best day for the go fast guys as it will warm up each day until Sunday.
There are about 50 rigs inline and although the stacking area is solid, there are lots of mud puddles as you navigate to stack. If you rig is clean try to avoid them, I know I couldn't. According to the NHRA website, parking starts at 7AM. This should make for a better parking experiences over last year. Getting an early starts seems to help out a lot. |

Why are they running Pro et at a national event? how do they get in? grade points?
Once there were 128 entries for stock and super stock. But no. we need room for all the tents and such. And now pro et. Good Grief. |

I guess this is the "new norm" at National Events.

Re: "Live From" Englishtown, NJ Summernationals
It is the top 8 PRO ET cars from Englishtown's weekly bracket program allowing them the opportunity to win a Wally. I think each track hosting a national event is entitled to have a special race because Maple Grove has one as well. I think it is a good thing and good for fans to see what bracket racing is as well as deserved exposure for those racers who run on a weekly basis. A fan has a much better chance of starting his or her racing career in a weekend bracket program rather than a class car.
