I do not have any numbers, but, I believe the spring you are looking for is a 1963 Buick special rear spring. You are taxing my old brain but I think this is what you are looking for. A very tightly wound spring with a lot of stored energy. We used this spring on a 1956 chev and a 1958 corvette. I hopes this helps. I am quite sure about the year, but you should check to make sure. Any spring catalog should give you the right size if I have the wrong year.

The Moroso 47150 fits the '55-'57 Chev but also other applications...think the Camaro
and maybe Chevelle... They might work right out of the box...but you may have to trim them a bit...to get what you're looking for...(ride height, etc...) Think that many, many years ago...before Moroso sold these...guys were using front springs from an early Chevelle listing...thought I saw that once in a '55-'57 build in a magazine..... |

I used '64 Chevelle, 6 Cyl 2dr sedan front springs in my old '56 Chevy Jr Stocker. Longer @ wound from much smaller wire than the originals. Moroso came out with their springs several years later. Moog had a catalog listing coils by wire dia, coil dia, length and spring rate. My first set came from an auto salvage.

Hi Wayne. Have you looked at Calvert's stuff. They do carry them for your '57. They come in three different (loered) ride heights. They are a little pricey tho. But what isnt in this sport right....
