Other tidbits about the race, the starting line was really well prep and maintained, the food was great and the announcing of Mr Bassin, Dave Ley and Lee Zane was fun. Great to meet some races like Don Kennedy, Mark Faul and some IHRA dudes who all drive the same cars, different colors and all crate motors. Good to see some friends like Joe 'Zoom" Mocci, Bobby Bender driving for Don Wilgus, Jimmy Harris and good ole George Cottel. George put that B/S camaro on the bumper today and carried it through 3rd gear, damn the underside of that car is clean. I am not Jack Matyas but then who is? Missed ya Jack. Did I mention before that on Friday the TT's were free, imagine that in today's world.

First round will be completed at 8:00am. Luckily, I won 1st rd and I have an understanding wife who will put up with me missing most of Mother's Day. I have met a lot of great people and finally put some faces to names on this forum, including the legendary Michael Beard.

I hope the weather is clear, warm, dry, and sunny today. Its a gamble to put on a race on mothers day weekend to begin with. Good luck to all.

Thumbs up Re: LIVE from Numidia Combo in the Hills $10K!

What a great race. I really want to thank Lee and Brian for stepping up and paying the whole purse, even though they were short on cars. Says a bunch about those guys and how passionate they are about making this race work this year and for future events.
Also a huge thank you to Joe Lisa for loaning me his 86 Camaro to use. Wish I could have made us some money bud...

So, who won? Who was runner-up? Who won the gamblers race?

And most important, where's the video?

The gamblers race got down to 5 cars friday night before it rained. Money was split between Lincoln Morehead, Mark Faul, Brian Worner, Mike Beard, and myself.. I believe 37 cars ran friday night... I got smoked in the 3rd round of the main race today and cant get a hold of anyone for results..sorry
