Ed, as you know from our previous conversations, I have a very high
regard of your opinion. What do you prefer about the FAST system?
Thanks, J.R.

Unless something changed since I helped Patterson and a couple other guys with their COPOs, I could not set the VE table break points. I can set my FAST rows & collumns to what I want. I have mine set to the MAP values I see mine running at, at the different elevations/Baro numbers I see mine running on the track, at the tracks around here. I use Speed Density, not Alpha N. Like, at Great Bend,KS (higher elevation) it runs on a row in the VE table (aka "fuel map") it never uses anywhere else. Don't have to change "tunes" for different tracks. I use an IAT sensor, and that correction table to correct for hot or cold days at the same Baro/manifold vacuum. Last Holley car I worked with had set values for fuel & spark table rows.

I also use different spark advance/timing in each gear. Never looked into how to do that with Holley. May be possible, I didn't think enough of that system to look into it.

Only upside I see, is it appears to support the LS coil on plug ignition system with no added control box. Single ignition coil, I would use FAST.

J.R.
Which Division do you run in? As a FAST customer myself, we're very fortunate to have the guys with FAST at various races throughout the year providing support and assistance to us.

Nick, we run Division 5. Support in some areas can be hard to come by,
so we try to buy the right stuff the first time. I'd love to tell you we always
have, but that wouldn't be true. Thanks, J.R.

All of the major systems currently available will get the job done. If you have any questions about the FAST XFI system, I would be glad to help.

I did have the winners of both Stock and Superstock, as well as the #1 qualifier in SS plus 14 class winners all running FAST XFI at the US Nationals last year.

As far as support, we have a team that specializes in NHRA Sportsman racing. I can connect you with one of our team members who can offer support via phone, email, and even remote connection to your vehicle if needed.

Ed in the quote below you are using a different spark advance for each gear with a FAST system? You can do that. This must be an advance maneuver i don't know about yet, I am still learning a lot on my FAST system. How do you do that? Will have to call David. I meant to ask this question months ago when i first read it.
