Default C-4 trans yoke

Guys I need some help. I had the yoke in my C-4 trans twist. The first yoke was a spicer brand and it lasted a couple years but I believe it had been twisting for a while. I replaced it before zmax and with 7 pass's on the replacement it twisted (it was not a spicer brand) but fit the spicer u-joint. Does anyone know of a yoke for a C-4 that will live. I'm only talking about a high 9 sec 2800 lbs car. Trying to get ready for VMP. Thanks Robbie

Robbie I had the same problem when I ran the C-4 in my .90 car, after 2 spicers I bought a Moser and never had another problem although I only kept it for another year or so. I would also think the MW piece would be nice too, good luck.

X2. I twisted splines in 2 other yokes before the Mark Williams yoke. Footbraking with a 2 step in Colorado.

I used a Strange slip yoke in mine, very pleased, no more twisting.

Here you go right from the factory in Vermont that makes them. C-4's w/28 Spline with a 1.499 seal, several lengths and u Joint sizes available
All 1330 and 1350 series slip yokes are forged from chromoly (Chromium-Molybdenum steel)

Hope this helps ...

Thanks for all the responses, I order a Strange 4340 chrome moly yoke. I'm also going to get a new drive shaft built possibly chrome moly also. Thanks again, we'll see how this works.
