Default 305ci/ GT combo

can you run a 207 q/jet on a 305ci/416 head combo? is that motor a fair raited combo? any input will help, trying to get something togeather...thanks.

Any part # Q-jet is ok as long as the bores are the correct size. I don't think the part# is an important issue any more in Tech, just that size matters....
A quick look at NHRA specs on GT 305's looks like the dish piston engine was hit on 1-1-10 to 254 HP and the TBI version is @ 230 hp....The Flat piston combos are all @ 275.
Is the carb worth 24 HP? Is the EFI & EFI Intake and FT pistons worth 45 HP?
I think I would ditch the carb and run a TBI 1982-1983 165/175 - 230 combo in GT.

thanks for the input auger.... 305ci/270 hp is crazy. i'll go a low hp 350 seeing as i have FT's, q/jets...just need to figure what 76cc heads to use?
