"Live From" Cobra Jet Showdown - Norwalk, OH

I know Bowling Green is the place to be this week, and many are going, if not all to Indy. But here at the NMCA World Street Finals, Ford Performance is here in their 5th year putting on the Cobra Jet Showdown hosted by the NMCA.

Many Cobra Jet teams are here racing in the Showdown and getting reading for Indy. The weather has been very nice with temps in the low 80's during the day and low 60's at night.

Here are some photos from today's action. I will see if I can get a qualifying sheet tomorrow. I do know Charlie Downing is the number one qualifier in the Cobra Jet Showdown.

Here are some very cool photos of muscle cars from the 60's and 70's. NMCA seems to have a class for everyone.

This has to be my shortest live from, oh well..... A few more photos before we hit the road for Indy. The Cobra Jet Show down is going into the third round. Charlie Downing, Chris Holbrook are still in, but judging by the qualifying, its Charlie's race to win.

JC Beattie is here from ATI, but he tells me he is not going to Indy, I saw Don Fezell, and he is heading to Indy.

I will jump in on Patsy's "Live From" when I get to Indy, see you all then.
