Default Onan Generator problem at Norwalk

Is there anybody at the Norwalk National event that knows about Onan generators? The Cook Brothers Onan 7500 generator shut off and won't start up again. It has a code 19 for governor actuator fault. The engine doesn't crank.
They are looking for someone to help or repair it. If anybody can help we are next to the campground on the back road, or call Roger 703-932-3265. Thanks

The Governor Control is located on the engine (big black Box with 2 wire connectors on top)
Make sure those wires are connected..Top cover may need to be removed. Maybe you'll get Lucky !

In the past I'have got those to run again by simply unplugging and re connecting as many sensors as you can and most important, the motherboard.
Good luck.

The 7500 diesel is an inverter. The governor is a stepper type motor with 2 wires going to it. It mounts directly on the injection pump cover and controls the fuel rack. Nothing much has ever gone wrong with one of those control motors other than the wire end could have broken from vibration.

Inverter style units are complex....the Inverter section houses the control unit as well as all the electronics of the inverter. Nothing serviceable there. 2 weatherpack style connectors and the input power from the generator's stator.....

The inverters often throw erroneous fault codes....

You check the basics....battery connections...voltage...wire connections if you can get inside it.....beyond that it needs to be repaired by a Cummins-Onan shop....Access to the insides in many MH's is not possible without removing it.
