We are not there yet but should be leaving in a couple of hours! Just printed our tickets!! We haven't been there in 3 or 4 years. Do you still come in from the spectator side around the back??

Well we are here and have been very busy. We got parked and teched and credentials before 5! Thanks to Redman for a very good spot with evening shade! It is hot here and going to be all weekend. Evening shade is good!!! Jimmy Hidalgo just fixed boiled crab legs and boiled shrimp! Of course, it is the best ever. I had never eaten crab legs that you didn't have to dip in butter, but these were great! Stock starts out at 8 in the morning, so we will see you then!!

Good morning from across the river from the Arch! It is 69 and muggy already! Lots of dew and 91% humidity. It is going to be a hot and sunny day! Since we are parked at the round track and a ways from the drag strip, I imagine they will be calling us up soon! We start at 8 and then will be back for another hit around 10 or so and then done for the day. I will try to get some pics then. More later.

Only 56 stockers made the first hit this morning. Lots of 1000' runs. Looks like a pretty tight tree. Lots of red lights! They must be backed up at the scales. Nobody is back yet!!

More later. Oh, Danny Byrd is # 1 right now!

Kevin Helms moved up to #1 at 1.08 under in Jeff's blue car in the 2nd qualifier. Now there are 58 cars. Jennifer McCormack got the leaf spring fixed on her truck and made it down this pass. 88 degrees and DA 3000'! HOT! HOT!
