Default Valve springs

I have pac Springs on my O 41 heads, spring pressures run between 270 and 310. I have lots of room, no shim under the springs. When they were new, spring pressure 350lbs. I have enough room to run a 60 shim and will not coil bind. Would a 60 make much of a difference in pressure. Any suggestions Thanks Jay. GT\DA

yes that will raise pressure, maybe time for a new set though install them to where they are .060'' from coil bind if they are 1409X will be about 425-450 like that.

They are the PAC 1.500 double spring that sets up at 2.100. They are pretty old but trying to get a few more runs before a new set.

Thanks James. That's a nice tool. I never noticed that before on their website.
