318 poly
Anyone try this combo with 2 BBL in a 60's car? Still has original factory HP. Way more than the LA 318.

Re: 318 poly
It would be a nightmare.....What is it 230HP or so?
I race a 63 Belv. 318 poly with 2 fours in AHRA Formula Stock back in the day that I traded straight across for a set of Max Wedge Heads to Burbank Speed in the early 70s. It ran in the mid 12s. A 2 Brl. 318 would not stand a chance against our 318 Thermoquad O/SA Wagon which is at 230 HP!

Re: 318 poly
If you take 45 hp off like the LA engines, it would be reasonable to consider.

Re: 318 poly
Finding a cam for one would be a nightmare, but they are solids and adj rockers. Read of a builup on one of these engines, a little head work, cam and good intake, made over 500 hp. Briggs and Stratton valves in them.
