Re: Grade 4 lives matter
When I first started doing this, they took a 64 car field that was qualified. 75 or 80 stockers sometimes showed up to Winternationals.I'm afraid that could turn Pomona into a little Indy if we went back to something like that.

Re: Grade 4 lives matter
Question ,if you go to a div race pay your $$ fill out a tech card go threw tech, sign your tech card along with the tech guy then brake on you way to staging. does this mean you would get a grade point, or do you have to stage, weight and fuel check, this would be in stock super stock. Now if you where in the super class do you have race first round to get you grade point. My point is that back in the day at the nat opens you could pay fill out a tech card using somebody else car and be on your merry way with a grade point in hand. Tom

Re: Grade 4 lives matter
Lot of precedent for folks renting a minivan that's in the guide, passing tech to get their grade point. Avis rent-a-racer....cheaper getting to the track too.

Re: Grade 4 lives matter
Mini van would work for stock, but don't you have to have the grade point in the the class you what to run in. Say super stock would have meet those safety requirements? Also how did some of the pro racers get to run some nat events without a grade point? Can someone else get your car teched in for you if they have your membership and number card if you are going to show up late? Tom

Re: Grade 4 lives matter
If car counts are going to be lowered, maybe NHRA should qualify 32 car fields, but allow 55 entries. Bring back performance to a performance based category!
