When you set up the rear suspension on the BO29 and LO23 Race Hemi A-Body cars.

What did you set the rear shackle angle at ?

Was is left vertical, or angled slightly ?
6 degreas neg. on pinion both pads then sometines perload right front pin in hanger.
Also on some cars would relocate second or third leaf in right spring, or even add a stronger leaf somewere in the right side.
Once ladder and four link got in the mix and we were unhooking the springs from the rear it was a hole new ball game.
Never used a pinion snubber on any cars ,stock or super stock.

Jack, did you operate the Amoco across from the fire station in Dundalk?
If so, do you remember working on this 340 Duster?

Will try to call tomorrow. A little hint on the past. You had just picked up the S&M Duster and teased me on a trade. They were parked side by side in the bays when you did some work on the TQ and straightened a couple tubes on the Hookers I bent back on a high man hole cover.

Friday ~ September 4, 1970

75-80 Drag-A-Way ~ Monrovia, Maryland

Jack Arnew in his 'Car Center' Pro/Stock 1968 Barracuda was the
Top Qualifier with a 10.01 @ 134.32 MPH.

Vernon Rowley in his 1970 Pro/Stock Duster was right there, with
a 10.10 @ 134.93 MPH.

In 2nd Round Eliminations, Jack suffered a mishap, as his 'Fire Bottle'
went off a short distance from the starting line, causing Jack to
shut it down.

Jack,

My friends father raced at 75-80 Drag-A-Way that Friday Night, and
