Your 2012 goals in Racing and or Life:
I cant tell ya I missed a good deal of my goals last year. But considering what I had to work with it is amazing to me the little I did do. I had a pretty decent amount of money to work with for the 2011 season relative to the cost of my car at least. Then early in the spring out of no where I got the opportunity ive been waiting on since I was about 12 ha. To open my own engine machine shop. This ate up a lot of my time/thoughts/money. I honestly should not of even tried to race last year (if you could call it that) with the brain power, money, and time I could budget for this project. Im talking I had to leave Indy early because I could not afford to stay. I threw the street tires back on my ugly old stocker and used the fuel that wouldnt pass fuel check to drive home on because that was cheaper than staying in my friends living quarters and paying him for towing home.... But none the less, I said I was going to race the US Nationals last year among other goals. I was a lot closer to meeting those lofty performance goals than I could convince any of you. But talk is cheap. I met one of my goals. And next year I will give it all I got to meet more of them. Hopefully with out having to sell phones for a living and having a full engine machine shop at my disposal this year and hopefully a little bit of cash I could at least manage to not oil down the track hahahahahah.
What about you guys? |

My racing goals are to just get the car done and on the track. My life goals are trying not to strangle someone.

I think it's excellent!
(There it is, I'm setting a goal and working towards it. I've had setbacks but I'm not giving up.) More power to you Jimi! Hope next year is even better for you. Myself...actually it's the very same as Eric, finally finish the car and not strangle the **** out of someone that so desperately needs it! LOL! I've got the kids junior in the shop now and very shortly the mustang will be back inside...just hope santa brings what I asked for! (even gave part #'s hehehe) |

My goals are to race until I can't and enjoy my life and family, which I currently do, but to do so even more, so I ordered a new boat so me and mama can fish in more comfort, and a new motor home so we can travel in comfort. And I'm gonna beat Slate Cummins this year. Just once.

Nice post!
I can relate! No racing for the last few years. Hurt the engine 2 years ago and have to scrape up the money to fix it. 2 teenagers at home. 1 just got his Driver's Permit yesterday. When I have money, I have no time. When I have time, I have no money. I'll get there soon. A 2012 goal. |

As far as racing goes I need to get a bunch of passes on the car next year starting with the Mission divisional. A race a year just doesn't cut it for me.
Where as in life, a bit of a slowdown at work and other things so my brain stops saying to myself "Insufficient Memory to run progarm". Allan |
