All the companies stickers that are on my car pay when I win that is why they are on there, and just about all of the companies pay in a resonable amount of time. There are the few that are real fast payers and most take a couple months. I am all paid up from 2010 accept for CSR and it looks like that decal gets to come off for next year anyway. CSR has paid us in the past but it usually takes 10-15 phone calls to get it done, my Dad is on like call # 10 for the 2010 payment so we will hopefully be getting paid soon. If a payment from a company seems like it is taking longer than it normally does from that company I call them and see if they need anything else from me (like proof of purchase) to get paid and I can almost always get it sorted out and have a check soon. I do that before getting on here complaining about getting screwed by that company.
I like a lot of racers look to see who is posting contingency for the year and see what I have to buy or do to get on the program.
I appreciate all the companies that post contingency and hope that I will get to partake in their postings again this year!

As a team, Beth, Tony, and I were in six (6) finals last year.
Both NHRA and IHRA.
Everyone paid us as posted except one company. Thank you all.

Only one (1) stiffed us on a technicality.

Lokar.

We had their C-4 dipstick and tube, just not the specific one which they claim that they post for. The rep told us they do not make a "NHRA" kit for a C-4 so they cannot pay us even though we had the one they do make on the car.
After a hour of BS, double talk, and diatribe over the phone we gave up.
Sorry to say we are a dealer for them as well.
Made us feel all warm and fuzzy to have so much of their product in stock, promote and sell it, then get stiffed.
I guess they needed the $100 more than we do.

So beware extra careful in selecting your locking dipstick and tube if you are doing so based on a class contingency supporter.

Sorry. Everyone including me has hijacked this thread.
Here is the link for the Lucas oil series.
For class they will only be paying for the three Sportsnationals and Indy. So it will probably be in dragster the week of Belle Rose

Alex, was it a locking dip stick? Or are there certain "NHRA package" locking dip sticks required? I thought all the locking dip sticks were eligible.
Thanks.

Yes Ed, it is a Lokar locking dipstick kit.
No sir, they are ALL not eligible for contingency so if you do have one you better check the part number.
There are very few that actually are eligible for contingency payment.
You would think that they would have paid us since we did have (and sell) their product especially to simply promote racer good will. Apparently the Lokar reps time wasn't worth much as he dedicated way too much of it to not pay us.

Brad and Mike.I asked Brad how many sponsors he considered reliable. It looks like he did his homework and that's what everyone should do.
If the stiffs don't see their decals on the cars they can either pull out of the program or
be more responsive to their loyal customers.

I personally would like to thank Comp Cams for being such a great contingency sponsor that has supported Stock and Super Stock class racing for many years.
I thought the same no sense beating a dead horse for a lot of companies this is too expensive the way it is laid out

Art, I am aware of the link but you answered the question I will need to see whats posted for Bella Rose.

The biggest question is what do the sponsers pay for in their products for example Holley pays for fuel injetion but is it the old or the new ? Altronics pays but I think the unit needs to be les than 2 yrs old there must be a list on the requirements I think just having the product and decal is not enough you need to have the correct product and e=mailing some of these companies goes unanswered
