What to add in radiator?
Since we are not supposed to run anti-freeze in the cooling systems
at the drag strip, can a anti-rust additive be added to the radiator? What about water-wetter?

Re: What to add in radiator?
Royal Purple "Purple Ice" is great stuff, so is Redline Water Wetter.

Re: What to add in radiator?
If you leave the water in the radiator for general racing or between races, it is good to dump some anti rust and water pump lube in. It is cheaper than the purple ice and redline stuff. It isn't something to help cooling like those are, but it does help protect your radiator and water pump.
Some areas have really bad iron and hard water deposits in the water so keep that in mind, especially if you don't drain it after the races each day.
