Re: 83' Camaro Top Strut Mount.
I meant it more in the way that my bracket car doesn't have to fit rules like stock or super stock does.

Re: 83' Camaro Top Strut Mount.
The quick fix now has been a set of junkyard pieces with bearings I found. The issue was glass beading them and having trouble getting that stuff out. But it it did work. Will look at aftermarket parts this spring.

I listed these in that thread that was linked. I got a deal on them on ebay. My originals were all dry and cracked. I was at a 3 day race and had a frt. end problem, the dreaded death wobble. I thought it was the strut mounts so I went hunting a pair. NAPA listed them but didn't have them in stock so I went to a junk yard and found a decent pair and installed them at the track. When I got home I found my real problem but bought the all steel with bearings which have been on the car now for a couple of years. Makes alignment a little easier and I can get more caster. |
