Dymo makes a unit for about $75-- others are available and the price goes up quickly to the $1000 range ----- shrink tubing for it is available in different colors and different diameters depending on the size of the wiring the tubing is fairly expensive-- have borrowed one in the past works well!!!

What size label works best for wires in the range of 10 ga to 14 ga ? I see they list them at 1/4', 3/8", and up but I don't know what their dimension refers to, diameter or width.

Thanks,
Bob

multiply .64 times the width to get the ID---- look at Dymo numbers 18051--18053--18055--18057---1805443 these are WHITE--- 18052----18054----18056----18058----1805444 these are YELLOW--- figure 3 to 1 shrinkage ----these tubes are all 5 feet in length and about $25-50 per tube PRETTY expensive on the site I saw might look around see if you can find it cheaper elsewhere--- Good luck looking Regards FED 387

Never used the shrink tubing, just use the least expensive vinyl tape to print labels to wrap. Use it to ID cables, in an industrial maintenance job, so they can be reassembled. The least expensive 18444 labels do well with oil and will not come off, without a person removing them.
