Re: NHRA Factory Stock Showdown Rules
I may be one sided but I believe it's going to be a southern shoot out!
Candies in the blow class and Helms with a pretty Red car loaded with a 426! Get em Boyz!!

Re: NHRA Factory Stock Showdown Rules
I'm looking forward to watching any of this that I hopefully will see on "You Tube" (I hope Robzneed4spd, will be there for the action from all of you guy's cars)!
I wish the 2015 Dodge Challenger "HELLCAT" was already out so one of the entries could be one of them....just curious who's going to run one of them in Stock/Super Stock? You Jeff? Candies? Keith Lynch? Kevin Helms? I wish I could say ME, but that's way out of my financial reach for now...but I would if I could, and there especially!!!!

Re: NHRA Factory Stock Showdown Rules
I think the Prototype might be in Indy. New 426 and blown car. All this is rumor of course.

I think Mopar should give one of them away as a door prize at the BBQ, lol.

I wouldn't be surprised if I don't see you racing one of them someday, if not soon huh Jeff? That would be cool....

Re: NHRA Factory Stock Showdown Rules
I actually went to the line and watched the FS shootout.. I kind of like it...its new and appealing to the fans and brings back the 3 factory cars into battling... but i do not like the fact they can go as fast as they want and not get hit with HP, but yet and still can be included in the qualifying ladder.
Are clutch cars not legal? i noticed next door to our pit, Fezell was putting an automatic in his car!!

Re: NHRA Factory Stock Showdown Rules
For me, the Factory Showdown was the highlight of my Indy trip. I hope there are even more cars next year and the racing action is even closer. Great show!

Re: NHRA Factory Stock Showdown Rules
Seems some of the predictions in the NA class were a little off. Who woulda thunk it?

Great win for you and Kevin, Jeff! Will you be in St. Louis by chance?
