Default Pinion angle

What is the desired pinion angle, '91 Camaro Stocker, A.T.?

The desired pinion angle going down track should be as close to zero as possible at all angles for front and rear u-joints.
Put the front of the torque arm where it will be going down track and adjust to be as close as possible. The engine is offset to the right so be sure to look at those angles also.

On a Mopar the engine is also offset to the right as is the pinion. Is the pinion in the Camaro offset also? How far off center is the engine/pinion? Just curious.

It's years since I did that measurement when building my stocker but 5/8" to the right is a recollection. Depending on what rear housing you put in it pinion location may not be where it needs to be relative to the trans. yoke. It's worth checking if your looking for maximum or near as possible efficiency.

Pinion is offset 1'' in a factory 12 bolt. This is how you are able to use the same length axles both sides
