Angry conduit scam

How many of you have been had by the conduit.com scam? Don't click on it if it hits your computer. It is an aggressively parasitic epidemic hijacking computers right now. In place of your regular home page, theirs pops up in it's place. Any attempt to navigate to your pages in your browser results in their ad for a variety of services coming up. lt hijacks, dominates, and contaminates your system with an unwanted takeover that destroys your ability to use your equipment. Sort of like too many people that have infested our country in years of late. This is a very blatent form of hacking that needs to be eradicated, as well as the people behind this. Do not fall for the ploy, do not accept their services, it's a scam. Any attempt to rid your system of this malware seems to freeze everything up. I had to take my computer in and get it removed, and there is a firewall that seems to work against it, so I had it installed. Far as I am concerned, hackers, telemarketers, social parasites, are as low as anything found in the bottom of a swamp. Maybe that's where we need to put them all, anyway. Be careful out there!!

Default Re: conduit scam

Hey I have had a deal coming up lately do you think its related? I bought some truck parts from Iowa 80. And now almost every site I goto has a Iowa 80 ad that is part of it. . It does not seem to be hurting anything but its weird that since week before last when I ordered the parts their ads are on almost every site I goto. And before I had never seen a internet ad for them. Do you think I could have got a virus when I ordered the parts?

Cool Re: conduit scam

Possibly. Might not be a virus, but an ad popup. It might die on its own after a period of time, but you could call or email them demanding that they remove it. This conduit is a nasty invasive piece of malware.

Check this out regarding conduit.com. Some of it is ok as it is a normal search engine such as google or bing, etc, but there is another part that is bad stuff. Read about it here.
