Re: That 318-2 dime rocket
The reports of Billy's death are greatly exaggerated.

We don't know each other but it seems to me that you're out of your league debating these guys. Listen and learn. Respectfully, Frank |

"dead to me " ???? Some of you guys are taking this stuff way too serious. I personably enjoy what is written here whether or not I agree with it. Lets all chill out for a bit and try to get along in these difficult times

The 273-4bbl combo has different pistons (10.5:1 or so) than the 2bbl version. I was looking at building a 273 Dart for stock. It became apparent that my engine guy is a Full-Tilt Boogie Motor kind of guy and I couldn't see pouring that much money into a 273. I bought two of the LD4B intakes to have them taken away. They should have not approved them in the first place, certainly they should have taken them away before I bought them. I wasn't ragging on Woodro either. Just frustration that it took a long time for the LT1 to get factored to a more realistic HP rating. It started at 275HP, the same as the 340 factory rating. I think it ended up around 350 HP. Sort of like when the Factory Showoff cars came out, the EFI cars were under rated at first.

OOPS! Never mind, another Mopar guy that I'm "dead to"! If this keeps up, there's liable to be a thread on here soon,"I Buried Billy"!

Some folks don't seem to realize that it is possible to read something on the internet that you disagree with and simply go on with your life!

I'll have to dig out the old Beatles album to see if it does say "I Buried Billy" or "I'm Pretty Silly".
