If all you care about is money your in the wrong sport... /QUOTE] Rich - I'm not as old as you - but I won the 1974 WCS at E-town and it paid $200 to win and no sticker money - round one had 129 cars .On top of that I drove my racer there .And I never did get the trophy - it's still in the mail !!!! My oh my how things have changed - it's still a super track but I agree some lipstick would be nice .And even with the high temperatures I expect to hook - everywhere ! ! We all paid our entry fees expecting a workable track surface .

Jack I do understand and probably should have not sounded so accepting of poor conditions. We all spend a fortune to race and at this level expect the best conditions. Unfortunately the powers in charge often don't seem to get things as they should be. I don't know the answer other than it's money, time and people that need to work hard at making it work. The new high powered Stockers are great but they need and deserve a good track prep as everyone does. I was not aware of the problem with traction. Carry on....

The track prep issues didn't leave you with to many options . If I didn't bracket race there for years , I would have missed the set up to hook it . Every tracks got its issues , many race weekends this year we got the heat wave treatment , not good for us , fans , or start line and its staff . If you leave the tri state area alot of young people like racecars , they tell me it my pit , there just getting started and got no money. The race at dinwittie the stands were loaded . Wheels up radio dose his best to promote the div. races , which I should do little more of in 2017 .[ like taking those car load tickets and handing them out it person at good locations. ]
