NHRA Divisionals Question
Thinking of attending the upcoming races down South in Louisiana and Houston. My questions are, do you need to pre register for them? Does your golf cart need to be registered with NHRA? Does your trailer need your car number on it and does your engine diaper need to be SFI certified?
Thanks in advance |

Re: NHRA Divisionals Question
I think that varies by division. D5 requires it and I do it, but I've never seen active enforcement.

Re: NHRA Divisionals Question
Nothing needs to be done in advance. You can fill out a tech card before hand though. I always do it electronically and then print it out to take with me.

Re: NHRA Divisionals Question
The pit vehicle can me ordered at your division office, they might have them at the meet. That pit sticker covers you with insurance for the year at any NHRA division or bracket race events. I think they are $50 for the year. If you go to a national event you get one as part of the insurance fee. The catch is that the national event one is only good at National and divison races. It does not cover open races or brackets. As usual somethings don't make sense. You can also cover your self with your own insurance policy but you need to make sure you have proof of insurance.
