Default IHRA Seeking Officials For Expanded Divisional Crew

Not only NHRA - but IHRA is looking for help too. I like that the requirements include knowledge of Stock and S/S.

Here's the announcement:

Are you tired of being a spectator? Would you like to be an active participant in the exciting world of IHRA Drag Racing? Have a background in motorsports?

We have an excellent opportunity for the right people within the IHRA.

Event Officials work with Division Directors to provide a safe and fair racing environment. All officials work hands-on with racers to provide the best experience possible. If you have a flexible schedule, willingness to travel and a skill set that meets our needs as well as a positive outlook, please contact us.

Positions Available:

Official Starter: Previous experience as starter on local level as well as good general understanding of track preparation and maintenance procedures is required.

Technical Officials: Excellent working knowledge of the IHRA competition and technical rules and regulations. Previous racing experience is beneficial. An understanding of Stock/Super Stock classification is highly desirable.

Membership/Points Officials: Ability to process paperwork and problem solve with a customer service oriented goal. Basic computer skills and a general understanding of drag racing are required, although no technical experience is necessary.

Most events run from Friday afternoon and conclude on Sunday. We ask that all applicants be available for multiple races within the Pro-Am tour divisional schedules. Please send resume or a detailed list of experience to the contact information below:
