Who "organized" that list? Good grief... Took the IT department two months just to add them in, and then it looks like they did so with a shotgun. Ugh.

I've been trying to get a simple answer out of them since November. They don't know, don't care, and my most important point & question they conveniently ignore repeatedly... didn't even bother with a "because I said so!" They even tried to tell me that they don't see where I've run a combination that's effected... I'm flabbergasted.

Now that I think about it, I am now the owner of TWO cars whose indexes are not just .30 different between NHRA and IHRA, but .55 for one and .70 for another!

It appears the new car records set in the old classes have been left, could be a challenge in many cases.

I've been trying to get an answer as well Michael. Their response to me was "why are you not a fan of these new classes and indexes"? "They do not see the problem, please explain". For me it's the same as putting Jeff or Larry in the car with me every run. Now they are both upstanding racers but I really don't want to load them in the car every round, lol. Bottom line is we are being punished for running the new cars.

The cars positively deserve horsepower, but that's not what they've done. I'd happily take my .20 Index hit if the rest of the Factory cars also had to take the same hit.

The thing that has come to me off is that at least three officials now have explicitly avoided answering the simple question: "My index got hit .20, yet Stick cars are unaffected. Why do automatics get a weight break in all of the other Super Stock subcategories in which Stick and Automatics are combined, but not the Factory cars? I'm just trying to understand the logic."

Quite honestly, I would even accept "Because we said so," but there has been ZERO attempt to neither rationalize nor even answer the question at all. Instead, I'm now being grilled about precisely what combination I'm running, despite that being entirely irrelevant to the question (and the fact that the classification has been specifically verified in tech at more than one event).

I understand the trade off is the F cars run no AHFS. I think they will just hit the cars when they 'think' they deserve it.

Just going to have to start testing more, and working on the new cars as hard as the old cars have been tested and worked on. They still have classes to run. Indexes they can run. Just lost their easy heads-ups, right?
