Okay..So what would be the point of NOT having FS and the older cars run flat out in the eliminator, but then HAVING them run flat out against old cars in class?

Jeez, they can't afford one more trophy ? Okay two..Another for SS.

I would expect they would still have the same stick & auto combos we have today. If you have a FS car with an auto you run auto combo, with a stick you run stick combo. That's the way they have done it with the SS Modified classes since they created the combos.

I think that it is time for a clarification on the difference between "Factory Stock" and "Factory Shootout".

That would be complete BS to have non AHFS cars running against cars that are accountable to the AHFS!

OK, so let's see; Which combo does the new cars fit in, stick or auto. That being said where in here is the AHFS? Factory Shootout is easy. FS/A Blown @ whatever weight they fall in, FS/B unblown at posted weights 3250 -400 CIC, 3350 426 CID or so, and V10 3500. The old BB/SA is now some new class with lots of letters and slashes. Now, again that being said, the aforementioned Shoot Out Cars is being looked at now and I don't know what is going on. There are only rumors. And since everything on the internet is always true, I would post the deep dark things I have heard without verification. They might call them (fs cars) something else next year. New Cars this year for Shootout? Allowed Modifications to the existing bodies, motors, weights? Looks like the combos will have at least 4 rounds every race, and maybe 5, especially in Super Stock. How about we throw in all the Comp cars and have a big dial in bracket race, and the comp cars get a tenth run out. And then the modified cars that should have been in comp to begin with, would want to go back to Comp. That would be about 200 classes. Wow. Too much coffee this morning.

If the FS cars were subjected to the AHFS at all of the events like the "regular" Stockers are, it would save on some confusion.
