PS. I got the tires and gave John the $. Thanks
Bob, Ace Hardware had the Goof Off Pro Strength. It's a xylene and acetone mix. It evaps fast so you have be quick-like-a-bunny with the scraper. It took all of a 1 pt. can to get all those years of decals off the 'Black B - - - h' (Ron's favorite name for it ).

Don't let John stick you with the lunch check this week as some sort of 'handling fee'.

Thanks! -Al

hi, I use a hair dryer, heat decal, peel it off, then i use turpentine to remove and glue left on, it removes it easily. afterwards, I'll rub some polish on spot to bring back the shine. just food for thought.

If your paint is acetone safe that works pretty good.

Thanks for the suggestions. -Al

Where did you get the scrapers?

Yes i would have to agree on using a hair dryer, plastic razor blade & some WD 40.
Just take your time and don’t overdue the hair dryer if it’s on high n hot.

They are used for smoothing out the caulking on counter tops and bath tubs, etc.

Really? How much did that deal cost you? I'll bet my method is cheaper.

BTW, only 3 pages? I'm sure we can drag it out to 6. ;-)
