Re: Computer Tune?
If it ran OK for a while, something is wrong with the car. The computer calibration can not change. If it has an O2 sensor feed back problem, causing the computer to make some wrong corrections (learned something wrong) just pull the PCM Batt fuse, cycle the key on then off, plug the fuse back in, start it up and it will go back to running well again. If not, something has gone wrong with the car. Only way the tuning can change would be if the eeprom inside is failing, you would then get a memory error DTC, a Service Engine Soon light on the dash, and it would run in Limp Home Mode. The computer checksums it's self everytime the key is turned on. Any change at all to the calibration and you get that code, light, and very poor performance.

Re: Computer Tune?
If the computer has not been tuned, it does need it. Anytime you change anything in an EFI car the computer needs tweaked also. If I can help let me know.
