Re: Where did the FWD stockers go?
Thanks for the responses. I have always been curious about the cars. I assumed the transmissions would be the weak link although I don't remember ever seeing one break. Between Chrysler, ford, and GM who has the strongest FWD transmissions both auto and stick? Thanks, Don Jackson

Re: Where did the FWD stockers go?
Going to jump into this FWD scene this year with both feet! Have a good car, just need to figure out how to drive it! Quite a bit different than leaving on the bumper in the wagon. It seems that a 14 second stocker is way harder to drive than the super stock car. Looking forward to some warm weather testing, -37 degrees last night with wind chill. Getting old fast!!

Alex had his 10.0 GTO out a couple weeks ago, after 7 years. He said it was like driving a Cadillac down the boulevard , after driving the Monte.

Re: Where did the FWD stockers go?
I still have the Achieva and Calais . Running the Achieva with a SOHC head at this time. Have a Super Stock Quad 4 engine on the engine stand, waiting for time on the dyno before putting it in the Calais.
