60 ft time question.
What 60 ft time would be good for our car?
It runs 10.70-10.80 with a C4 transmission. |

You should be able to do better than 1.45 with your car. When my '71 429 is going 10.70 to 10.80s my 60's have been in the 1.39 to 1.41 range depending on the track. 4.88 gear and 5600 rpm converter, 3700 lbs. The 429 probably doesn't have much if any more low end torque than a 351C as it has a short stroke and a much heavier rotating assembly.
