Sorry Billy for the language. Here is a simple breakdown of what I was referring to.
Quote:
Billy, I'm sorry to say this, but your observations are conclusive, they have merit, but do not conform to today's preferred method of fabricated negotiations needed to fulfill ones wants.
Translation:
I'm sorry, but you are correct in what you say and see, but other people make up stuff and try to make NHRA believe that they need to approve of their wishes.

Quote:
Maybe it is time for you to disband the tried and true dime rocket experience and get yourself a Tesla, contact the powers to be in Glendora and push your narrative.
Translation:
Quit with the cheap combo builds and get a Tesla. Get a hold of NHRA and tell them they need to approve your Tesla.

Quote:
Being a different brand you are sure to receive better reception. And you would be a pioneer in Tesla's movement.
Translation:
Since Tesla is not in the "books" you have an open chance of getting approved and you would be the hero.

Quote:
Get rid of this Bowtie, Blue Oval and Pendant nonsense.
Translation:
Dump GM, Ford and Chrysler

Quote:
Surely there are enough prospective enthusiasts in this endeavor. This way you no longer need to be persecuted by the injustices being applied to racers.
Translation:
There is a bunch of people that would go along with you. This way you no longer would get screwed over by the way that racers are being treated.

Translation:
Ron Ortiz, that is me. U/SA is the class that I run and the country I live in. Spacex would be a great sponsor for your Tesla.

I hope this clears everything up for you. In summary, get a Tesla, get approved, and forget about the Big 3, and make the rules you want for your Tesla. And yes, you still are a hero.

Got your welfare. Must have a personal beef with me Billy. I took the 340 out because of all the crying about some intake that i didn't need or want. I spend a great amount of money to put a 440 in. play by the rules and put in a request and got it. I can be found out in the west coast if need me..

Nope, I don't have a "personal beef" with any Racer. My "beef" is with the NHRA Tech Dept. and how they have manipulated their rules over time.
When the replacement head deal started out, a Racer could use the legal replacement head on his combo with a HP penalty. NOW, somewhere along the line, the replacement head becomes it's OWN combo. THAT'S B.S.!
If the NHRA is going to do it that way then maybe they should consider a combo with a replacement intake manifold a different combo too!

You see where this is going to, Billy?
Hope not, because those two associations are no longer around.
