I'm confused, at Atlanta Lucas points race for SS/S do we race 1/8 or 1/4 mile? Will there be two stock champs one 1/8 and one 1/4? Who will be checking the fast burn 385 Vega for being legal for Stock. Just because I have questions does not make me against it.

Doesn't make a lot of sense, does it Larry?

Mr Larry the way I understand it these events will be completed separately on different weekends. The LODRS and one as a national open. There will be no fast burn Vegas at the LODRS race. Also there is no Lucas Oil race at Atlanta this year just the open race.

Bottom line, do you want more opportunities to race or not. If you want to be selective, or if you think your above something, if it doesn't fit your agenda, then so be it. You want to whine or be objective, OK.
It is your sport that is slowly slipping away, no matter what you think, it is not what it used to be. Do you want to race or not.
It is called competition, that is what drives most people, to compete.
I love competition, I coach football, I drag race, I love competition.
My football theory is "give me somebody to hit"
My drag racing theory is "bring me someone to race"

Everyone in D2 has been wanting Open races, so here they are. Now all we need is some major sponsor like PC Richard......maybe someone like IMH Used Parts will step up as series sponsor!

Now James, this is not the OPEN we where wanting, i wanted a 1/4 mile open to set a record or 2.I travel all the way up into Canada now days to support there open races on east coast, and attempt to set records and collect on the 10k combo race, that only had 37 cars last year and the man paid it in full,as there air is good{as ya all know this cold air down here comes only from Canada, lol well that is what the weather man says lol} and that is a haul. Now for the 1/8 racing, i will support it,if i'am around at that time,i raced at all these tracks except for 1, all them good short tracks, good people and great hooking.Like Ron said it's a place to race.i hope goes over good, there is alot of cars around here to support it, they just have to come and support it. Like James said, last year not many supported the I section of the sport. Now there is alot of question need to be answered also, but i will not post it here and let the neg.people beat this to death, like it has already started.Good luck D2 and track owners. Brian

. Larry, I'm sure NHRA knows how to tech the 385 fast burn. They can just read the specs. All the crate Motors have specs .
