Default Thank you Mr. Tharpe

I was half way to Indianapolis when I got a text from Rusty Hall telling me that the Division 3 Director had pulled the plug on the race this weekend because of the weather forecast. Great call. Two years ago at National Trails my bride and I spent several days in the cab of my F250 reading. As a matter of fact I do not remember how many times the crew from the tracks spent drying it. Rain, dry, rain, dry, rain dry. The Division 3 crew did a wonderful job taking a four day race and finishing it in one and one half day. Started on this racing journey in 1973 I cannot tell you how many times racers were permitted to show up and then get rained out.Well done Division 3.

Oh, the trip was not wasted since Southside Automotive Center on Madison Avenue in Indy had just completed a base coat-clear coat of Powder Blue on the Maverick. God does she look great. Pat Sparkman is a racer and if you need a car painted please give him a call, he will do ya right.

See ya at Norwalk.
