Wink engine question

What is the windsor engine in a Mercury that has a Holley dual feed carb and has been run in SuperStock and GT combo's Thanks, Larry

Not a dual-feed though. And no secondary metering block.

As Billy said, it's a single feed carb, with a jet plate in the rear. No metering block. The factory carb looks just like an 1850.

Does anyone know what the full part number or list number of that carb is?
NHRA only racer lists C8OF-D.

Also I believe the quick fuel VS585 was accepted as a replacement

Holley number is R-3796, according to an old Holley doc I have.

Dwight, The car I was thinking of was a Escort built for GT and It was from somewhere up north and at one time was White. I looked at it because at the time I worked for Ford Dealer in Jackson,Ms. Getting old and can't remember,Thanks also it has the same carb as the 390 cyclone, but was 302W, and had the transfer tube on pass. side/

It is the same carb as on some of the 390 engines. Transfer tube on the pass side.
