Sportsnationals
Can anyone tell me how the points work at the Sportsnationals in Columbus this past weekend for Super Street class. Do we get divisional points at the Sportsnational race, since we don't accumulate National points? Also, they told us if we did not ask for a refund for the divisional race, and wanted to leave Saturday due to the rain, we would still get the divisional points, minus the 10 points for not competing 1st round. Is this true?

As for the division race on Sunday if you left and didn’t get your $ I believe you only get 10 points for that event. Hope you withdrew and got $. $200 for 10 points is a tough pill to swallow Points should be posted by now

Re: Sportsnationals
Thanks Keith. I did not withdraw from the divisional, I wanted to make sure I at least received the grade point for it AND the Sports national event. It is a lot of $, but the 2 grade points is the main reason I went to the Columbus event. I'm trying to get as many grade points as I can this year. I want to make sure I have enough for where ever they will be running Super Street in division 2 next year. Now that Atlanta is gone, I'm curious to see which division 2 national event will run Super Street. Looking back, I should have stayed for the divisional. But I knew I wouldn't be able to stay for Monday, (that darn J O B thing gets in the way sometimes) and the weather had me concerned about them getting the race completed by Sunday night. I should have at least stayed for 1st round. Shoulda, coulda, woulda....Great job out there Keith. Division 1 sure did represent very well.
