Default classification guide?

Bare with me fellas ,I am old and not very computerized.I checked the Classification guide and didn't find what I wanted ,this means that there is no way I can race a vehicle that isn't in there? I watch and read about all the Dime Rockets and try to soak up some of your knowledge.
A good friend sent me a short article on a IH Scout that John Lingenfelter had raced years ago . Now I am not a John Lingerfelter but I do know where one of the Half V-8s are. Is there any way this would still be a viable stock class vehicle? thanks

If it is not in the guide, you can't run stock with it. If you can get the manufacturer to remit the specs, you could run it. I don't know how easy
that would be with International Harvester. J.R.

Cornbinders were made to pull, not drag.
Good luck. Bob

Your post made me think of this advertisement from Hooker! I don't think it was in the guide then either! If you're just looking to have fun, there are plenty of combinations in the guide you CAN work with. Good Luck!

You wouldn't think you could run a 1991 Mitsubishi Might Max Pickup in stock, but its in the book.
