Fire extinguisher
Is there a right and/or wrong place to install a fire exting. per NHRA rules.
I believe I have a good extinguisher on order and the proper bracket. Terry K |

Re: Fire extinguisher
Terry, I mounted mine on the bar that runs alongside the passenger seat.

Re: Fire extinguisher
That sounds like a good idea Alan.
Problem is that I still use my stock seats('78 Camaro) and the side bar is so close that I have no room. Are you allowed to put the "thing" on the cross bar between the two seats? I have lots of room there. Terry K |

Re: Fire extinguisher
Carried one in the Camaro when it was in Stocker trim.

Re: Fire extinguisher
Thanks for the picture Rich.
Had you ever considered placing it between the seats on the cross bar? I like the orientation of the "thing" on your passenger side bar though. Terry K |

Re: Fire extinguisher
I actually put it there so someone else could grab it quickly from outside...you could easily see it thru the window with the door closed.
