Start data logging on RPM
One of the questions I'm often asked is can I make the Racepak start logging automatically. Yes - Racepak and most other logger brands will do this. It's a really great feature especially for someone new to data logging.
Also, as a related question - for those who push a button - why the all the anxiety to push the button at the last possible moment? I think it's stupid. It takes a couple mouse clicks to set the start point of the run anywhere you want. Here is a YouTube vid of setting up a Racepak this way This is the main setup screen: Give me a call with any questions. Greg Kelley 609-265-2110 |

Re: Start data logging on RPM
Not only does every data recording system we make allow you to start recording on RPM, but they also can Stop on RPM and allow for ARMING on POWER UP. THese features allow our DataQuest, RedAlert and O2alert systems to record without any interaction required from the driver or crew. Being a racer myself I determined a long time ago that the last thing I want to have to worry about is having to remember to turn something on or off before I make a run, therefore I designed my systems to be completely automatic. All I have to do is turn my kill switch on (battery power on) and everything runs automatically.
