Default Et genie users past and present

Hi I'm looking for some help with my new unit to try and fast track my learning a bit. I understand every car will be different biut hoping for a bit of insight. So I run a 750 with the 1 5/8 base plate, the genie is 1 3/4 would it be safe to assume that I would not see any et reduction untill the genie was closed to the 1 5/8 size? Also I don't need to kill alot maybe .2 or less what would be a big change to the genie as opposed to a small change. Is 1 turn a big change and 1 flat small, how sensitive is it? Trying to get an idea of where to start and then how big of adjustments to make after.
Thanks to all that respond.

I have been using it for a couple years and love it. One turn will maybe slow you up .02. It comes with a pin dial gauge and that will help you to understand what size will slow you up how much.

Never used a Genie but I know a couple people using plates and it seems that every .100" change in hole size would be pretty close to .10 ET on the track.

My pit partner uses them on his sportsman bracket truck, and can dial it.
I believe Nick Siebert (Luke's brother) uses one to run super street.
