Belle Rose to Gainesville—reastaurants and Dump Stations
We have made many trips across I-10. These are where we usually stop. At Moss Point, Ms Exit 69 onto Hwy 63 there is a Pilot Travel Center. From there parking lot you can within a half a block is aCracker Barrel, Waffle House, several fast food places and our favorite the House of San Miguel Mexican restaurant also know as the House of Tequila. Worth stopping to eat. The parking area at this Pilot is not huge but we have always found a place. At the Alabama Welcome Center just a little ways down the road is a huge parking area with a free dump station. It is large enough to drive our rigs threw without any problem. Think it’s about half way to Gainesville. Mike McMahan 2543 H/SA

Re: Belle Rose to Gainesville—reastaurants and Dump Stations
We stopped at the Alabama welcome station and it has a lot of room. This has to be the largest rest area ever! We were planning on using the RV dump here, but it is out of order. Plenty of room to stop and park though

James, Sorry it was closed. Didn’t know it was out of order. We have used it for years. There is a dump at the Pilot at Moss Point that’s not too hard to get in if you haven’t passed it yet. Not sure where else. Mike McMahan 2543 H/SA

Most all of the rest areas have closed the RV dump stations. I use Flying J if I need to dump when on the road. Gainesville will have a pump out truck cruising the pits. Not sure on the cost of that recently.
